Dutch Kingsday in the Côte d'Aur

Koningsdag or King's Day is a national holiday in the Kingdom of the Netherlands. On the 27th of April, the Dutch celebrate the birthday of their king Willem-Alexander van Oranje. Over 400 Dutch people turned up at the Kingsparty at Château de Saint-Martin in Taradeau. On King's Day, in addition to a pleasant celebration, it is also traditional to organize a free market and a sports and dance spectacle for the children. The Dutch honorary consul of Marseille, Camille Trialat, and Nice, Willem-Hein Couwenberg, were both present to bring out a toast to the Dutch king and enjoy a fantastic party for people of all ages.
